Christine Thomson founded The Discreet Medical Chaperone as a result of her own personal experience as a patient. Christine was hit by a car, while crossing a busy Manhattan street, suffering catastrophic injuries followed by numerous orthopedic surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. She has had surgery and subsequent treatment for cancer as well as plastic surgery. She is acutely aware of the apprehension a patient feels prior to a procedure and their needs immediately following. She has always made it a priority to give back to the community and worked as a hospice volunteer for nine years.
This background, coupled with her caring and nurturing personality, makes Christine and her professional team the type of people you want to accompany you as you begin your recovery.
As a testament to the care and compassion provided by Christine and her staff, many of the patients are repeat clients. Others are often referred by hospital and medical staff that rely on their professional expertise.
